Here Are Our Board Members
Donna Johnson
Donna Johnson has been employed at Bethel University for 23 years. She is currently the Director of Internship and Placement at Bethel Seminar. She was an Assistant Campus Pastor overseeing Twin Cities Outreach, Pray First, and Rooted. She was an Advisor in the Academic Enrichment and Support Center and assisted in supervising the Cultural Connection Center for 15 years. She was an Associate Dean of Student Care and an Associate Dean for Diversity and Community during her first four years at Bethel.
George W. Wallace, III
George W. Wallace, III is a dynamic entrepreneur holding multiple leadership roles across various companies. He serves as the Founder/Vice President of WallTeQ LLC, Founder/CEO of KeGG Media LLC (formerly AfriQA Media LLC), CEO and Founder of KeGG Solutions, and holds the position of Partner/Vice President at Centrix TeQ in Accra, Ghana. His diverse responsibilities span project planning, team leadership, project monitoring, issue resolution, operations management, stakeholder satisfaction, and project evaluation.
Michael Franks
Michael Franks, a distinguished professional with a multifaceted career spanning 40 years. Currently Mr. Franks serves as CEO of Advisory Pro Financial LLC. Mr. Franks and Advisory Pro Financial have established themselves as a leading online, virtual tax and financial planning service, catering to clients in all 50 states and US Territories. “We make Financial education accessible and efficient for a diverse clientele.” Mr. Franks’ journey in the financial space began during his career as a postal worker, where he perfected his organizational skills, networking skills and attention to detail.
Emilymai Esther Dunbar
Emilymai Esther Dunbar is a Liberian native; she and her siblings immigrated to the states when she was ten years old. When Emily was 16 years old, she started a group in school called Girls Leadership; girls’ leadership existed because Emily saw the need for young women of color specifically to be educated and not be limited by their circumstances, with this organization and with the help of teachers and her childhood best friend, about ten of the girls graduated high school and went on to college. At the end of her senior year in high school, Emily received the Rose Reese award for excellent leadership and the ability to make a difference in the world.
Gloria Howard
Gloria Howard, M.Ed, CLCP, A native of St. Louis, MO has spent the previous eight years in the Memphis, TN area prior to settling in the Twin Cities. for twelve years. Gloria “The Growth Coach”, is the founder of The Root Path Way, LLC which is a movement of healing and growth using coaching techniques and authentic traditional African products which assist in bridging connections of unity and community through relationships and strengthening parenting skills of black and brown families.
Rhoda Franks
Meet Rhonda Franks, a loving wife and mother of three adult children. With a flair for creativity, muti-talented, and a passion for making others look and feel their best, Rhonda has perfected her skills as a former hairstylist and instructor for cosmetology for over 25+ years. Now, Rhonda is ready to take on a new challenge and leverage her expertise in a different way. Inspired by Mending Hearts Life Coaching, her desire to give back to the community is pursuing a membership with the board of directors in the non-profit organization.
Donisha D. Law
Donisha D. Law is a dedicated entrepreneur, advocate, and leader passionate about empowering others to overcome challenges and achieve personal growth. She is the proud owner of DLaw Notary and Consulting Services LLC, a multifaceted business offering mobile notary services, loan signing, tax preparation, life coaching, and quality control services. Through her business, Donisha serves diverse populations, including individuals, businesses, and community organizations, providing professional and compassionate support tailored to their unique needs.

Bukwon Holland, the voice of excellence in audio storytelling. From Philadelphia to the Twin Cities, he’s not only conquered his fears but has also harnessed his unique superpowers to inspire change in the world.
As a versatile voice-over artist, narrator, documentarian, producer, host, announcer, and speaker, Bukwon uses his platform to elevate important conversations about mental health, empowering others to embrace their stories and seek support.
